This Week's Progress

Down five pounds in week one.
Not unexpected, as we all know the SLD really works if you stick with it.

I've also returned to my gym regimen. 45 minutes daily on the Stairmaster for now.

Last Supper Serving Sizes Going Up

Well, it's not just Americans and not just in recent decades.

As reported in The Los Angeles Times, a research project involving studying dozens of versions of "The Last Supper" painted over a 1,000 year period has indicated that serving and plate sizes have been inching up over time.

That tells me that the problem that we are facing is not a new one, but the solution is simple nonetheless: don't each so much.

Back On the Oil!

After a hiatus, I've put on a few pounds and some I'm doing the logical thing...

going back on the SLD.

There was really no good reason for going off on the first place, so I'm not going to make excuses.

As before, I'll be tracking my progress here. So stay tuned.
